In God’s awesome timing, we had the opportunity to walk through the last six months of our adoption process with another sweet family from Texas who were in the process of bringing their son, Isaya, home from the same orphanage in eastern Congo. Isaya and Elizabeth have been through a whole heck of a lot together in their short lives. They lived in the same orphanage… made the flight across Congo together… lived with the same foster family during their final months in Kinshasa… and were on the same looong flights back to the States. Watching them play together was precious, and their sibling-like bond is so evident. Little do they know… Kathleen and I have already decided that an arranged marriage might just be in their future. No really… just you wait…
