Oh, what good it did for my heart today to hear from the orphanage director that “{Elizabeth} is well.”

Three small words, seemingly so simplistic.  And yet, for this mama who has endured weeks of silence and whose heart aches for her baby girl halfway across the world, these little words did more good for me today than you can know.

She is well.

God is merciful.

And I am grateful.
