Our sweet friend Rebekah first introduced us to TOMS. For those of you who are also in the dark, TOMS is a shoe company that gives away one pair of shoes to someone in need for every pair purchased. I don’t have a pair, but I love their mission. But this post isn’t about TOMS.

It’s about Rwanda. Big shocker there, right?

Apparently, TOMS recently gave away a huge number of shoes in Rwanda, and the dreamy Kris Allen tagged along for the trip. Watching the beautiful faces, breathtaking scenery, and joyful singing just makes me so proud of this teeny little African country- my baby boy’s first home.
