Well, my parents are en route back to Richmond after spending the weekend with us down in NC. It was a fabulous weekend with beautiful weather, way too much consumption of Ukrops bakery items, and even some excellent news on the adoption front (!! more on that later !!). As Mary Grace’s birthday is only two weeks ago, my mom offered to bring The Best Birthday Cake Ever with them to have a bit of an early birthday celebration. And celebrate we did. Mary Grace ate up the attention and jabbered all weekend about her “pretend birthday party”. Ha!
