There have been two men in my life who have beautifully displayed the love of a father.
Exhibit A, my dad:
He endured countless dance recitals, held his breath through years of gymnastics meets, and traveled far and wide for high school field hockey games. He was the loving, involved father that far too few individuals are blessed to have in their lives. Much to Matt’s chagrin, I think my dad will forever be the one I call when I get lost or when something breaks.
And Exhibit B. Oh, Exhibit B. Matt is a full-time student, a part-time church employee, and a part-time stay at home dad. One of my favorite things in our marriage to date has been watching him embrace his role as stay at home dad. My man loves our kids with such tenderness and passion that it melts my heart day in and day out. He is so much more fun than I will ever be but is still able to lay the law down when I am acting like the world’s biggest pushover with Carson.Happy Father’s Day!

yep, you are blessed. and how about your son who loves to tell you how beautiful you are? training him right, cath.
Yes Catherine you are extremely blessed to have both of these men in ur life. Your dad is one of the few that can pull off being a good father and a good husband (especially with my demanding sister as his wife-LOL). Just wait until Mary Grace gets older and has Matt wrapped around her pinky.
