I was just on the US Department of State website (it’s amazing how I have been spending my free time recently), and according to their statistics, there have only been 49 adoptions from Rwanda to the United States in the past ten years! Wow.
I am still incredibly calm about our home visit tomorrow which, for anyone who knows me well, is an act of God in and of itself. We’re feeling your prayers, so keep ’em coming!

49? Wow, that is a really low number! I hope everything goes well tomorrow- I'm sure it will!
Praying for you all. I bet the caseworker gets through in record time. After all, what's not to love?
That does seem like such a low number – is that updated? I didn't know the State Department tracked adoptions like that.
On another note – my inlaws live in Selma, and my MIL teaches in Johnston County!
