The kids and I headed up to Virginia this weekend for a few fun-filled, action-packed days with my family. My sister and her family have recently moved from Winston Salem back home to Midlothian, so it was extra fun for Carson and Mary Grace to have a chance to play with their cousins. The boys played so well together, and I could hardly handle the sweetness of their goodbyes as they embraced each other and lamented the distance between them. Fear not, there are pictures. And yes, those are icecream sandwiches in the bubble bath in the last picture. My mom might have won the award for coolest grandmother of the year with that spontaneous idea.
