Holy moly, it’s 2012. Wasn’t it yesterday that everyone was hoarding canned goods and bottled water in anticipation of Y2K?
Matt and I have never been ones to go all out on new year’s eve. This year was no different. We hit up our favorite Salvadorean gas station down the road for some authentic tacos and quesadillas, had some good laughs over a game of Mad Gab, and caught up on some DVR’ed episodes of The Office. We really live on the edge, let me just tell you.
I didn’t make any resolutions this year, but I have become a bit over the top obsessed (yes, more than ever) with the desire need to get my baby home from Rwanda. Now. I know that God’s ways are good and His timing is perfect BUT I think I might flip a lid if I have to endure another holiday season without Wyatt. Just being real here, y’all.
So here’s hoping that 2012 is the year of many referrals, African travels, and returning home with our little Rwandan miracle baby.
