this makes me smile

I arrived at church last night to this sweet surprise… a cute jar brimming with candy corn pumpkins! Clearly, Shannon knows the way to my heart. And apparently, the way to Carson’s heart as well. As he sat down for breakfast this morning, he eyed the jar and instinctively knew that he needed to partake in their goodness. After cutting one into a manageable size, I warned him that he could have one- only one- pumpkin… to which he looked at me sweetly and stated emphatically, “Two.” At least I have some sort of confirmation that all of our work on numbers is paying off. Thanks again, Shannon… you rock!! 🙂
